Styrka's largest offering in their flagship optic series, the impressive 15x56 S9-Series ED Binoculars sport a high magnification and massive objectives intended for open-range hunters who require powerful optics for spotting game at distance. They are engineered with complementary technologies to produce an optic that is built to perform well in low-light conditions and in the harshest environments. First is the use of extra low-dispersion (ED) glass in the lens elements to correct chromatic and spherical aberrations. Next are compact Abbe-Koenig roof prisms that are phase-corrected to improve image contrast, clarity, and brightness. The optical path is fully multi-coated with their proprietary SXL-MAX anti-reflection coatings which increase light transmission, image contrast and sharpness, and provide true colour rendition. This all translates to bright and clear high-contrast images with accurate colour across the entire wide field of view - especially at low light such as dawn and dusk, and heavily overcast skies.

The chassis is built with an open-bridge/dual-hinge design which offers more gripping surface without sacrificing strength, and helps to offset the weight of the large objectives. Made to live a life outdoors, the optical tubes are nitrogen-filled and O-ring sealed to make them not only fog-proof when moving between extreme temperatures, but also waterproof and submersible to 3.3' for up to 30-minutes. The exterior has black textured rubberised armour that protects against knocks and drops, and offers a slip-resistant grip for sure handling in cold and wet conditions. With a weight of over 3-pounds, hand-holding these binoculars can cause fatigue and wearing them around your neck can cause uncomfortable neck strain. It is for this reason that Styrka includes an adapter so they can be mounted on most photo/video/field tripod; and a binoculars' harness that relieves neck strain by redistributing the weight to the shoulders and keeps the binoculars close to the body while moving to eliminate snags and swing.
