Celestron built their 10x42 TrailSeeker ED Binoculars to address the particular demands of hunters, birders, and outdoor enthusiasts. They deliver bright high-contrast images with accurate true-to-life color and crisp clarity even when observing from long distances. To achieve this optical performance, these binoculars feature anti-reflection fully multi-coated extra-low-dispersion (ED) glass with dielectric and phase-correcting coatings on the BAK4 prisms. A wide apparent angle of view not only presents an immersive observational experience to complement the impressive performance, it also helps to minimize the distracting hand shake that is common when holding high-power optics such as these binoculars.

Designed to stand up to a lifetime of outdoor use, their chassis is made of a lightweight and durable magnesium alloy that is also corrosion resistant to make it ideal for boaters. The optical tubes are nitrogen filled and O-ring sealed to make them waterproof and resistant to internal fogging when moving through extreme changes in temperature or environmental conditions. Celestron binoculars include tethered front and rear lens caps to add an additional layer of protection in the field, with the ability to quickly react to glassing opportunities without fear of losing the caps. Also included is a harness system that keeps the TrailSeeker binoculars close to your chest so they won't hang and sway dangerously when you move over rough or rocky terrain, while also redistributing its weight off your neck to your shoulders to make carrying them all day much more comfortable.
