To achieve this optical performance, these binoculars feature anti-reflection fully multi-coated extra-low-dispersion (ED) glass lenses with phase-corrected BAK4 roof prisms. The apparent angle of view approaches wide angle, not only to present an immersive observational experience to complement the impressive performance, but also because it helps minimize the appearance of the distracting hand shake that is common when holding high-power optics.

Designed to stand up to a lifetime of outdoor use, the binoculars' chassis is made of a lightweight and durable polycarbonate that is also corrosion resistant, making them ideal for boaters. The optical tubes are nitrogen filled and O-ring sealed to make them waterproof and resistant to internal fogging when moving through extreme changes in temperature or environmental conditions.
