The Hikmicro Owl OH25 is a monocular thermal image camera with a focal length of 25mm (F1.0), which provides a relatively wide field of view and makes it easy to spot an animal or other object. This thermal camera has a variety of key features, such as Wi-Fi, picture-in-picture mode, hot-track function, multiple scene function and four distinct colour palettes. The high frame rate of 50Hz ensures sharp, real-time images during dynamic and fast-moving scenes. The manual focus allows you to focus the image to your own preference. The Hikmicro Owl OH25 thermal imaging camera is designed as a useful yet powerful observation device. It is equipped with a vanadium oxide (VOx) sensor that has a resolution of 384 x 288 pixels. The image is displayed on an OLED screen (1024 x 768 pixel resolution). With its 25mm wide lens, it has a field of view of 14.88°×11.19° and a maximum detection range of 882m. The handheld thermal imaging device has hot spot tracking, up to 8x digital zoom, and various color modes for this large field for accurate response and a stadiameter rangefinder. Observations made can be easily recorded to the internal 16 GB memory or alternatively shared with up to 5 devices using the WLAN function. The built-in battery lasts up to 7 hours. This can be expanded by turning off the screen (automatically or manually). This standby feature proves to be an advantage, especially when weaning the eye: it will not be recognized by nearby play. A short press of the power switch makes the camera ready for use again right away. The battery can be flexibly charged via USB in the car or on any USB interface or with a USB power bank. The rugged housing has protection class IP67 and is therefore proven to be waterproof and impact resistant.
