Split-field filters are filters composed of two half's. One half is a close-up lens, the other half is empty. Both parts of the lens can be in focus at the same time or you can leave one part out of focus for a special effect. The Split field filter SF will let you experiment with different combination's and obtain some very interesting photos.
Great for use in film making where you want to have a close up subject in focus as well as subjects far away. Used by many world famous Directors such as Tarantino and De Palma, you can give scenes in your films that classic look with these filters.
This Filter comes in a twist a Hard protective plastic case
The rotating ring is slim, the Glass element (+2 diopter).
Due to the slimness of the ring and the thickness of the filter element there is not enough female thread to attach anything to the filter.
