Improved image quality and detailed recognition

New, more powerful hardware enables improved image quality and pushes the boundaries of 384 x 288 sensors even further. The new 1,024 x 786 AMOLED display improves contrast and color reproduction for a more detailed image with less background noise and sharper edges.

Extra Long Battery Life

With an impressively long battery life of 8 hours, the ZEISS DTI 3 GEN 2 holds enough charge for two to four birding trips. The Auto Shutoff feature conserves battery power: The DTI will automatically shut off after a freely selectable amount of time as long as you haven't interacted with the thermal imaging camera during this period.

Perfect Ergonomics

The DTI 3 GEN 2 family of thermal imaging cameras stands out thanks to its unique ergonomics – the Ergo Control operating concept, with its intelligently positioned buttons, makes it easy to intuitively activate all of the device's functions. The perfect ergonomic design offers excellent handling in cold and dark conditions and ensures that both right-handed and left-handed users can operate the device comfortably.

It's often the details that make the difference: The fine, gradual zoom adjustment in increments of 0.5x offers the perfect combination of magnification and detail recognition. This means that nature observers can quickly recognize even small details, which is the key to accurately identifying them in the dark.

Three observation modes for every situation

Different environmental situations require a different instrument setting. The DTI 3 GEN 2 has three pre-programmed observation modes: universal, detect and fog. Detection mode, for example, highlights heat sources even more while reducing the cold background. This allows you to see animals behind trees and bushes better than before.
